Ceramic Streets Of Arizona - About the Event
This is a yearly judged competition with awards. All Potters/Ceramicists are welcome.
Like almost everything in todays world – we don’t see many artists in one room anymore unless you are messaging them on Instagram. This event will be held yearly and it will allow us to make friends, meet new artists and learn from each other. Making us a better community of Artists.
There is a $45 entry fee – this covers our costs to put this event on. It will allow us to purchase Creative T-shirts for everyone, the awards (an engraved plaque for the main winner/three more engraved awards), stickers and more!
Event Schedule
This isn’t another day-long session repeating the things we know. We’ve designed and framed this event to challenge each potter in a new way. Go out of the box and create something totally new.
March 2nd - 10:00 AM
Introduction & Opening Meet at Potters' Peak
Once everyone signed in:
Carpool to our destination.
Once arrived:
We will all be going to the same 5 locations.
Once arrived:
Make your press molds at those locations.
Lunch - after molds are made.
After Lunch:
Meet back at Potters' Peak to get back to everyone's cars.
April 27th - Deadline
Everyone has 8 weeks to finish work - bring back to Potters' Peak to be Judged.
June 1st - Winners announced!
Community will judge work. There will be 4 winners.
